Welcome!

Possibility Place was the first playground of its kind in the Harrisburg area. It is a very unique playground because it is accessible to those individuals with physical disabilities. The inclusive environment allows children with disabilities play with their nondisabled peers.
Possiblity Place includes 5 foot wide ramps, a raised sandbox, high and low monkey bars and rings, and a poured rubber groundcover that wheelchairs and walkers can easily maneuver around.
Possibility Place was designed by Leathers and Associates from Ithaca, New York, and built by 1,500 volunteers. The playground opened to the public on Saturday, August 12, 2006.
The playground is located at the intersection of Nyes Road and Heatherfield Way in George Park in Lower Paxton Township.
